We can assemble chassis bought from Barry Wright Race Cars or have you a car assembled @ BWRC. JR is a racer himself who has found lots of success in a Barry Wright Race Car since 1999.  JR's operation has the capability to offer complete cars, just like BWRC in Cowpens.

J.R. is in constant one on one contact with Barry & Lance on a weekly basis. He has been with BWRC due to the commitment that is made in building a reliable chassis. BW does not run a production line chassis building shop. Each chassis is built as if it was for BW himself. Standards are a top priority and that is why J.R. has been a customer of his for so many years and now a business partner in selling BW chassis and parts.

Bodies will come from Barry Wright Race Cars if requested. We do have the BW patterns at Racers Depot and J.R. knows what it takes to put one of Barry Wrights cars together to their exacting standards. Chassis come from Barry Wright to Racers Depot.

Set-up sheets are available for cars 2000 and up ONLY by contacting BWRC or RACERS DEPOT directly with proper verification (the serial number) and the model year car you may need help with. If you purchased the car from someone used and don't know the year or where the serial number is, please try to know the original buyer of the car so we can ensure the accuracy of our information to you before contacting us. Many people sell used cars and are not honest on the correct year of the car. Also, watch out for people selling "house cars".  PLEASE be aware of this and ask for set-up sheets with the car or for the original owner's name (the person who PURCHASED the car from RACERS DEPOT or BARRY WRIGHT DIRECT) to see if you are getting a good or bad deal!! For your best bet, CALL US BEFORE YOU BUY!

BWRC FUEL CELLS

Quality and durability are synonymous with the words Barry Wright Race Cars and our 32 year history of building cars. Our fuel cells are made of super linear polyethylene (the same material  used in kayaks offering a substantial weight savings) seamless bladders and the cans themselves are made of 22 gauge steel that is then powder coated.  Each handcrafted fuel cell is made with the highest quality components and an easy to check dipstick. The fuel pick ups are made to ensure you get the most fuel out of your cell each time you race.

•   Each cell measures 26” wide X 23” deep X 24” tall. 

•   Each cell can be easily slide from side to side to help offset the driver’s weight

•   Cells are designed to allow fuel weight to be placed closer to the rear end in the car aiding in traction capabilities

•   Allows all of the fuel load to be above the center line of the axles allowing easier weight transfer

Complete car includes the following: All front end suspension to include the upper control arms,1 piece lowe control arms w/ struts. Howe ball joints, spindles, tie rods, steering shaft to include steering wheel & quick release,brake/clutch pedal,master cylinders & stainless steel brake line kit w/ RF shut-off,brake calipers,pads,hubs,rotors,wheel bearings,drive flanges,seat,seat belts,4 gauage panel (No Tachometer),shifter,switch panel,gas pedal & linkage,all rear suspension including bearing birdcages,4link set up,panhard bar,brackets & adj. R/E mount:torque arm kit w/ clevis,5th & 6th coil kits,winters rear or franklin magnesium rear end with gundrilled axles,fuel cell,can, strap,filters,fittings, shocks,springs,sweet power steering, p/s hose kit, double pass aluminum radiator,complete body, bolt on bumpers & rh door bar kit. Complete nose assy. w/ duct work,complete aluminum powder coated rear spoiler & fiberglass or aluminum roof. Also includes all nuts & bolts,heims,bushings,battery cable kit and rear torque plate. Front motor mounts are not included. EXTRA charge for installing a custom made seat.

Complete cars DO NOT include the following: Motor,transmission,bellhousing,wheels & tires,tachometer,driveshaft,battery,window net,or a Barry Wright fuel cell.All these are added cost. There is also an extra charge for oil cooler,msd ignition,power steering pump & brackets, true track or bearings in the rear end. A starter is not included. The Tiger rear end is an extra and pricing depends on the options you want. Please note some upgrades in shocks etc.will affect pricing as will some other available options to be discussed at the time you call or come by.


The chassis is chrome moly and will be completely jig welded,cleaned, & powder coated. The car will come assembled with  the best workmanship and details that money can buy in the dirt market. It will be wired completely, fuel lines will be run,and breathers for the fuel cell and rear end will be installed. The front end to the radiator will be ducted for better cooling. The front & rear bumpers & RH door bar are bolt on style for fast removal. You will be able to reach all the gauges through thr trap door. There will be a qucik fill for the rear end. All sheet metal body pieces will be hemmed. You will get instructions on how BW sets up a car and the first set up is included in the price of your car. We will be available to answer your questions and help you with any problems you may have. With Barry having his house car and Racers Depot having ours we are always in touch testing and trying new things. Any info we learn will be passed on to you.

We require a deposit on all chassis orders no matter the stage.
